Third visit to Antico — brought my parents visiting from Chicago. My dad said it was the best pizza he's ever had, and he's from Chicago. The margherita is simple perfection — San Marzano tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, basil. $14. The communal dining adds to the experience. Atlanta treasure.

Antico Pizza in Westside does Neapolitan pizza in a wood-fired oven imported from Italy. The San Gennaro with sausage is perfection. $14-18 per pizza. Cash only, communal tables, zero pretension. The dough is made fresh daily and you can taste the difference. Lines are long but worth it.
