Opened in September 2017, Avenue Barber Shop is an independent, family-owned barbershop in downtown Grand Rapids. Owner Chris Lapham, a Lansing Barber College graduate, specializes in traditional cuts, paying homage to the barbershops of the 40s and 50s. They take pride in taking their time with each and every cut, shave, and trim so their clients never feel like just another number. Each cut is finished with a neck and around the ear clean up with a razor because even the littlest details matter to the barbers at Avenue.

I have been searching for a great salon and finally found it. The stylist listened to exactly what I wanted and delivered perfect results. The salon is clean and the staff is friendly. Will not go anywhere else.
