Second visit to BCN Taste & Tradition for our anniversary. Tried the tasting menu this time — $65/person for 5 courses of Catalan specialties. The pintxos course was art on a plate. The wine pairings were perfectly chosen. Houston has incredible restaurants and BCN is top 5 for us.

Fourth visit to BCN Taste — we're now hosting a private dinner for 12 guests in their back room. The chef is customizing a Catalan tasting menu for $75/person. The relationship we've built with this restaurant is what dining should be about. Houston's best Catalan food, period.

BCN Taste & Tradition in Montrose does authentic Catalan cuisine. The paella takes 45 minutes but it's worth the wait — crispy socarrat bottom, fresh seafood. $38 for two people. The croquetas are addictive. Wine list is all Spanish. Date night perfection.
