Established in 1983, the Maui Go Karters Association operates Hawaii's premier karting track, a half-mile asphalt circuit located in the Maui Motorsports Park. The track features two long straightaways and nine technical turns, offering a challenging experience for both novice and seasoned racers. The association is a grassroots movement powered by local drivers, families, and supporters, fostering a community-oriented racing environment. They host weekly practice sessions every Saturday from 9 AM to 4 PM, and have recently revitalized the track with events like the MGKA Time Attack Event on November 15, 2025, marking the first race day in six years. The track is also open to SuperMoto bikes during select practice days and races, adding a new dimension to the facility. Safety is a top priority, with the track adhering to IKF standards for kart safety, maintenance, and design. The Maui Go Karters Association is dedicated to providing a racing experience that combines competitive speed with the island's natural beauty, making it a unique destination for motorsport enthusiasts in Hawaii.
