Midwest Float is Topeka's premier float center, offering two flotation tanks designed to naturally increase endorphin levels, boost mood, and provide a lasting afterglow. Clients use flotation therapy to relieve stress, enhance creativity, aid in sports recovery, combat addiction, and manage anxiety. The center is owned by Casey Campbell, a combat veteran who found relief from depression and insomnia through flotation therapy and aims to share these benefits with the community. The facility features a pod and a cabin-style tank, both filled with 850 pounds of Epsom salt dissolved in 250 gallons of water, allowing for near-weightless floating. Clients can customize their experience with options for colored lights and calming music inside the tank. The center has been in business for 9 years, since January 20, 2017. Operating hours are Tuesday to Friday from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, and Saturday to Sunday from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm. It is closed on Mondays.
