Negus Winery and Meadery Tasting Room, established in late 2023, is the first and only honey wine tasting room in the U.S. They specialize in Ethiopian Honey Wine, or Tej, brewed to taste like the traditional fermented honey wine made by the founder's mother in Ethiopia. The tasting room offers honey-wine tastings, wine flights, and private tours for groups of six or more. Guests can also purchase their favorites to enjoy at home. The ambiance is enhanced with smooth jazz and rotating art displays, providing a unique cultural experience in Alexandria.
