Olde Soul is what a barbershop should be. Great conversation, cold drinks, and a fade that lasts 3 weeks. $35 for a cut. They play vinyl records. The owner actually knows your name after the second visit. East Austin gem.

Olde Soul is a cool spot — craft beer, vinyl playing, skilled barbers. The cut itself was clean but I waited 40 minutes even with a booking. $35 for cut and beard. The South Lamar vibe is perfect. I just wish they'd respect appointment times better. The haircut quality is legit though.
