Second time calling Rescue Plumbing — this time for a water heater that died the week before Christmas. They had a new 50-gallon tank installed in 4 hours. $1,650 total. Chicago in December without hot water is not an option. These guys are my permanent plumber now.

Rescue Plumbing came out during a polar vortex when our pipes froze and burst in the basement. On-site in under an hour at 6am. Replaced the burst section, thawed the rest with a heat gun, and insulated exposed pipes to prevent it happening again. $650 for emergency service. Chicago winters don't play.
