Sotto Mare does one thing perfectly: seafood. The cioppino is legendary — a massive bowl for $32. Cash only, tiny restaurant, expect a wait at lunch. This is North Beach old-school Italian done right. Not fancy but authentic. Skip the pasta and get the fish.

The customer service here sets them apart from everyone else in the area. They remember you, they care about the details, and they go out of their way to make it right.

Nearly a year as a customer and the experience has only gotten better over time. They continuously improve their process without losing the personal touch that made them special.

At this point I have lost count of how many times I have been here. That alone should tell you how good they are. Consistency over time is the true test and they pass it every time.

Used Sotto Mare and was very satisfied with the restaurant work. Second time using them and they were just as good as the first. Consistent quality and honest communication throughout.
