Third dinner at Bestia. Brought visiting friends who'd been trying to get a reservation for 2 years. The hand-rolled pasta and wood-fired short rib were extraordinary. $85/person with wine. My friends are now planning their next LA trip around a Bestia reservation. Legacy restaurant.

What impresses me most after all this time is the culture. Every team member seems genuinely happy to be there and that energy translates directly into the quality of service.

Bestia in the Arts District is the reservation every LA foodie fights for. The handmade pasta and wood-fired meats are extraordinary. The orecchiette with sausage ragu is $28 and perfect. $80-100/person with drinks. Book 30 days ahead exactly when reservations open. Worth the effort.

Average experience. Nothing wrong exactly but nothing that made me want to leave a five star review either. They did what they said they would do and charged what they quoted. Just not memorable.
