The brisket at Shigs In Pit BBQ & Brew Maplecrest is smoked low and slow for 18 hours and it shows. Perfect bark, incredible smoke ring, and melts in your mouth. Best BBQ in Fort Wayne period.

Ribs at Shigs In Pit BBQ & Brew Maplecrest fall off the bone but still have the right amount of chew. The housemade sauce is tangy and sweet. Get there early because they sell out by 2pm most days.

Tried the BBQ sampler at Shigs In Pit BBQ & Brew Maplecrest and every meat was cooked to perfection. The pulled pork was juicy, the sausage had a great snap, and the sides are incredible. Worth the wait in Fort Wayne.

Shigs In Pit BBQ & Brew Maplecrest is our tailgate and family gathering BBQ spot in Fort Wayne. They do large orders with notice and the meat is always consistent. The burnt ends are a must-order.
