Went for happy hour at Maki Boy and the half-price rolls were exceptional. The spicy tuna crunch roll is a must. Great sake selection and knowledgeable staff.

Maki Boy has become our weekly sushi spot in Irving. Consistent quality, fair prices, and the chefs remember our favorites. The yellowtail jalapeño is outstanding.

Solid Japanese food at Maki Boy. The bento lunch special is great value and the miso soup is excellent. Sushi rolls are fresh and generously portioned.

Best kept secret in Irving for Japanese food. Maki Boy does not cut corners on ingredients and the attention to detail shows in every dish. Try the chirashi bowl.

The ramen at Maki Boy is the best in Irving. Rich tonkotsu broth that has been simmering all day, perfect soft-boiled egg, and tender chashu pork. Worth every penny.
