Locals-only secret for BBQ in Irving. Post Oak Smokehouse does not advertise much but word of mouth keeps them packed. The beef ribs on weekends are extraordinary.

The brisket at Post Oak Smokehouse is smoked low and slow for 18 hours and it shows. Perfect bark, incredible smoke ring, and melts in your mouth. Best BBQ in Irving period.

Ribs at Post Oak Smokehouse fall off the bone but still have the right amount of chew. The housemade sauce is tangy and sweet. Get there early because they sell out by 2pm most days.

Tried the BBQ sampler at Post Oak Smokehouse and every meat was cooked to perfection. The pulled pork was juicy, the sausage had a great snap, and the sides are incredible. Worth the wait in Irving.

Post Oak Smokehouse is our tailgate and family gathering BBQ spot in Irving. They do large orders with notice and the meat is always consistent. The burnt ends are a must-order.

Good BBQ spot in Irving. Post Oak Smokehouse has solid brisket and the mac and cheese side is creamy and delicious. Friendly staff and a no-frills atmosphere that fits the food perfectly.
